Being a Blessing in the Family - Young Kim
Why is it so difficult to live like a Christian at home? How can we get along better with our parents? What is the key to winning the heart of our parents? We will be touching on these questions and seeing how we can apply them in our real life home situations in a way that's realistic and that would reflect Christ.

Prayer: Practicing the Presence of God - Anita Yu
"One of the great needs of the Christian life is to have a
place where we deliberately attend to realities. That is the real
meaning of prayer."
Oswald Chambers
Prayer is a fundamental expression of Christian faith and the
fabric of a living relationship between us and God. Prayer is a
discipline of dependence, where we bring our whole selvesour
mind, our will, our affections, our needs, and our burdensbefore
a sovereign and loving God, tuning our hearts to His Spirit and
truth. In prayer, we experience the personal reality of God's
presence and power, both in our lives and in the world.
This workshop will explore the nature and significance of
prayer in our walk with God. For all who are looking beyond
your present experience and yearning for the fullness of life
promised to those who know God ... please come join us for a
deeper look into the life of prayer.

Peer Counseling Workshop - Elissa Lin Rathe
Do you have a desire to help others? Do your friends tend to gravitate
to you when they are in need? Do you sometimes find you are at a loss as
to how else to help your peers? Are you concerned that you might get
burnt-out yourself?
Well, if you answered, "yes" to any of the above questions, this
workshop is for you! You will learn how to better help your peers through
enhanced listening skills (and how to "stay away" from trying to solve
their problems). You will learn to separate yourself from others (setting
of healthy boundaries), and not "take on" others' burdens, while being
able to be of real help to others (in so doing, help yourself as well).
Lastly, you will also learn when and how you need to "refer" your peers
out to professionals who will be able to help them best.
