  Main Message

I believe the Christian life is the most fulfilling and the exciting adventure that a person can take. It is what we were created for. However, there are many who talk the walk but do not walk the talk. We will be exploring what it takes for us to live out our faith in Jesus so that the lost world will see it and turn to Him. I believe the only way we can live it out and give our faith away is by beholding Jesus. My prayer is that through this time together we will encounter Jesus. If we do and we will we will be people who will walk the talk and love doing it. -Pastor Young

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
2 Corinthians 5:17-21

  Youth Main Speaker

  Pastor Young Kim
When I was young I wanted to be a teacher, like my parents were. I also loved collecting insects, but I was not sure what kind of jobs that kind of love would lead me to. I recieved Christ when I was in high school, in my sophomore year during the summer. I was 16 years old. I like adventure. I'd love to sky dive. I want to go scuba diving.

Pastor Young is currently the senior pastor of Grace Covenant Church in Philadephia, PA. He was born in Seoul, Korea but grew up in Chicago. He studied at the University of Illinois and received a B.S. in bio-engineering before going on to get his Master of Divinity at Biblical Theological Seminary and Master of Arts in Urban Missions at Westminster Theological Seminary. Pastor Young is married to Annette and they have 3 children, Isaiah, Sarah, and Daniel. If you want to read more about Pastor Young, please visit GraceCovenant.net
