  2005 Theme:
MORE THAN WORDS

For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.
~Hebrews 4:12-13 (NIV)

Changes?! Yes, we've made some. We're making more.

Click here to download the brochure (PDF format) we've created to promote the career portion of our conference! Feel free to make copies and distribute.

NEW! Workshop descriptions and speakers have been posted.

We know that the Career folks have different needs from the college and youth at our conference. And we know that time (esp vacation time) is precious. In our effort to make this conference more relevant/worthwhile for you to come, we've made (and are in the process of making) the following changes:

  • Workshops that focus on relevant topics for career folks.
  • Separate conference facilities for college & career attendees.
While the conference is still on the Hofstra University campus, we have reserved space solely for use by our college & career (C&C) attendees. Main meeetings will be at Monroe Hall.
  • Living accommodations separate from youth and college students. There will be no conference-imposed curfew for career attendees. In fact, common areas will be provided to help foster a sense of community amongst those in the career group.
  • We will be hosting organized fellowship activities during free-time and mealtimes.

Remember, the conference begins on Thursday night (June 30, 6:30pm) after work so you'll only need to take off Friday from work if you want to join us for the entire conference. If not, join us for the long weekend! (Monday is a holiday - July 4th).
